We’re Courtney, James, and our two kids—a family who packed up our “normal” life over three years ago to hit the road and explore Australia full-time. What started as a dream quickly became our reality, and we’ve never looked back.
Our journey began because we wanted more—more time as a family, more adventure, and more freedom from the daily grind. We craved experiences over possessions, and we wanted our kids to grow up with a love for the outdoors, learning from the land, the people we meet, and the places we visit.
As we head into another 12 months on the road, we’re soaking up every moment, knowing that big changes are ahead with our eldest starting high school next year. While our full-time travels may pause down the track, our hearts will always be in the thick of the travelling community, supporting it in any way we can until we get back on the road full-time.
If you ever spot us out and about, don’t be shy—come say g’day! Whether it’s a quick chat, a shared campfire, or just answering questions about this lifestyle, we’re always up for a yarn. We’re open books and love connecting with others who share the same passion for life on the road!
Cheers,
James and Courtney
